Travel anywhere in Iowa?
FCE’s from Employment Cost Solutions are fully mobile
across Iowa as well as the Quad Cities, Omaha, and Sioux
Falls. We NEVER charge for travel time and mileage is
free for the first 125 miles each way from our clinic in Des
Moines, almost the entire state at no charge!
Schedule the appointment and find a venue?
ECS is here to make every aspect of an FCE easier on you.
One call is all it takes, then we find a place to hold the
FCE (at our expense) and, if legally allowed, we call the
claimant to schedule it.
Perform the FCE in less than two weeks? Sometimes you need an FCE quickly. If so, ECS guarantees
our FCEs can be scheduled and completed within two
weeks of your call to ECS with no “rush surcharge.”

Deliver a tailored FCE report within 72 hours… to multiple recipients?
You shouldn’t have to take time from your day to
distribute our FCE report to physicians, adjusters, case
manages or attorneys. Just tell ECS who should get
copies and we’ll send them (fax, email or hard-copy) at
our expense within three days of the FCE’s completion.
Only charge for what you need?
We can charge a flat fee, but in the end, you pay more.
Period. Most FCEs don’t require a full four hours, let
alone two-days, so we will discuss with you a streamlined
approach wherein we provide a specific and more
appropriate variation on the standard FCE if you desire.
Focus on your specific preferences?
Most referral sources have personal preferences as to
what they want included in the summary report. We can’t
change the results of the FCE, but we’ll happily tailor the
summary report to include only what you need – nothing
more, nothing less.
Keep you and the claimant updated?
We call or email you as soon as
the FCE is scheduled. When it’s
complete, we call or email again
to convey our initial findings
and discuss with you the best
subsequent steps.
We send each claimant (when
appropriate: their counsel) a
confirmation letter that tells them
what to bring on the day of the
FCE and includes detailed driving
directions to the appointment site.
We also confirm the appointment
the day before the FCE.

Be Completely Objective?
We only offer FCEs because it inherently makes for a
more convenient and cost-effective FCE which makes
your job easier. But, perhaps most importantly, it
means you get a better FCE. ECS is the only purely
objective provider of FCEs in Iowa.
Eliminate concerns about questionable
recommendations?
Because we do not offer any therapy services we have
no incentive in recommending additional rehabilitation
when not appropriate. Conversely, we don’t have
to “prove” our rehab was effective by proclaiming a
patient is ready to return to work before their time.
Never be “too close” to the patient?
Without fail: a clinic’s familiarity with the patient will
lead to presumption about the patient’s ability. The only
information we have on each claimant is that which you
provide us.
Control your costs?
ECS is proud to be members of nearly every provider
network in the United States. If you use a bill review
service, in all likelihood there will be a discount on our
FCEs, if not, we grant volume discounts.

Use a traditional FCE system
proven, time and again, to be the best?
We did our homework. When we decided to focus
on one service we realized we had to offer the best.
We spent months visiting clinics, grilling executives,
creators and referral sources… and we read research,
mountains of research.
We are yet to find a peer-reviewed, research-based
article that does not rank the WorkWell (a.k.a.
Isernhagen) FCE at the top of the list for reliability,
thoroughness and validity.
